Dr. Mark Ginsburg - Activities and Interests

Research Interests

My research interests are: Health Informatics - Pediatric Software, Digital Libraries, E-Business and Virtual Communities. and Large-scale web information systems. One of my common research approaches is to build a prototype using open source packages, gather empirical data in field settings, and conduct statistical analysis.

I have also worked on adoption of collaborative systems ('groupware') with a large-scale field study and document management system/agent software topics. See my publications.

Currently I am the president of a medical software consultancy, Seventh Rank Associates, LLC . Our chief product is

PedOne™ is a Pediatric practice management software solution: scheduling, well- and sick-visits, medication hints, and internal accounting.

I am also the Vice-Chair of the IEEE Medical Technology Policy Committee (IEEE-MTPC).
